The racing went really well. Engine ran mint. Jetting was spot on however the clutching
needed some fine tuning. It should have been turning around 9300 rpm and the best I could get
out of it was 8000 rpm. Ran a top speed of 85.2 mph. however when clutched right it should
top out in the high 90's. My buddy Kyle, on his bone stock '81 6000 ran 95 mph which goes to show
you they were a fast sled in their day.
It was a lot a fun. Had quite a few people come up and say they loved the 6000
and either had one or drove one when they were younger.
I'll be back at it next weekend and hopefully do a little better.
